Location:  Holiday Inn Lake Elmo

Instructors:  Brett Hall, MAI, SRA, SAMA and Byron Miller, SRA, AI-RRS

Prerequisite:  Six months work experience and Assessment Laws and Procedures preferred

Requirements: You must bring an HP 12c calculator

Course Materials: When you register through the Appraisal Institute, you will have the option to either download course materials (included in the registration price) or pay an additional fee to have a hard copy sent to you directly, prior to the course. No hard copies will be available at the course.

Food & Beverages:  For student, instructor, and employer convenience, a limited variety of refreshments and snacks are included in your registration fee and will be available for a.m. and p.m. breaks. In order to keep registration fees lower, lunch will be on your own for MAAO co-sponsored courses such as this one, so please plan accordingly.

Hotel Group Rate: For your convenience, a block of hotel rooms has been reserved at the Holiday Inn Lake Elmo. Reservations are the responsibility of individual attendees and must be made by January 7th, 2022 to ensure the group rate.

Scholarships:  MAAO offers weeklong course scholarships to anyone that is interested in pursuing a career in the assessment field and demonstrates a financial need. Courses eligible for a scholarship include Assessment Laws and Procedures (ALP), Appraisal Principles, Appraisal Procedures, and Mass Appraisal. More information and a scholarship application are available by clicking here.

COVID-19 Considerations: MAAO is following the current guidance from the Minnesota Department of Health. Each educational offering is subject to cancellation if mandated by the Governor or due to a change in COVID conditions. A 100% refund will be processed for any registrant due to a COVID-related cancellation. Attendance at any course is at the risk of the employer and attendee. MAAO or A.I. will not be held liable.
