Workshop Summary:  This workshop is intended for assessors planning to take the Minnesota Income Property Case Study Exam, which is one of the requirements to achieve the SAMA level of licensure. The materials provided will be a review of the three approaches to value with emphasis on the income approach. Registrants should review previous course materials and be prepared to work on case study problems involving income-producing properties. The workshop is intended to review concepts and methods of valuation so preparation for the workshop is the registrant’s responsibility. By attending the workshop, candidates will be prepared for the case study exam.

COVID-19 Considerations: MAAO has worked with the event venue for this offering to ensure proper social distancing, adherence to the Governor’s orders of not exceeding 25% meeting room capacity for events, and COVID-19 catering accommodations. Additionally, sanitizing stations will be provided, face masks will be required at all times, no-contact forehead temperatures will be taken at the beginning of each day, and there will be no passing of paperwork throughout the class. We have talked in detail with the event venue and feel confident that every reasonable precaution is being taken for attendees' health and safety.  This offering is subject to cancellation if mandated by the Governor.  A 100% refund will be processed for any registrant due to a Covid-related cancellation. Attendance at this course is at the risk of the employer and attendee. MAAO will not be held liable.
